General Assemby D2’s (what’s in the bank?)

Illinois House cont.

  • 85th House Distirct: Incumbent Brent Hassert (R-Romeoville) has $261,000 to challenger Democrat Emily Klunk-McAsey’s $13,000.

  • 69th House District: Incumbent Ron Wait (R-Belvidere) has $103,000, generally matching his Democrat opponent Greg Tuite’s $102,000.

    State Senate

  • Contrary to what you would expect, Senate Republican Leader Frank Watson leads with cash on hand to super-majority, Senate President Emil Jones (D-Chicago). The leadership gap is narrow, $2.5 to $2.4 million.

  • 26th Senate District: $135,000 Republican Dan Duffy to $31,000 Democrat Bill Gentes (Round Lake Mayor)

  • 27th Senate District: $104,000 for incumbent Matt Murphy (R-Palatine) to Democrat challenger Peter Gutzmer’s $3,800.

  • 38th Senate District: Incumbent Gary Dahl (R-Granville) has $224,000 to challenger Mike Stout’s approxmate $10,000.

  • 42nd Senate District: Republican Challenger Terri Ann Wintermute, $102,000, impressively leads incumbent freshman Democrat Senator Linda Holmes with less than $50,000.

  • 45th Senate District: Appointed Republican Tim Bivins has $32,000 to Democrat Marty Mulcahey’s $29,000.

    • Illinois House

  • Democrat Speaker Michael Madigan has $1.8 million (multiple accounts) compared to $1.2 million for House Republican Tom Cross.

  • 44th House District: Freshman Democrat Fred Crespo(Hoffman Estates) has only $12,000, but is trailed by challenger Peggy Brothman with $3,000 on hand.

  • 56th House District: Recent Democrat, and formerly elected Republican Representative Paul Froehlich of Schaumburg has only $8,000, but again, is trailed by the Republican challenger Anita Forte-Scott’s $1,500 on hand.

  • 66th Open House District has Republican Christine Prochno with $45,000 to Democrat Mark Walker’s $15,000.
