<li>Contrary to what you would expect, <strong>Senate Republican Leader Frank Watson</strong> leads with cash on hand to super-majority, <strong>Senate President Emil Jones (D-Chicago)</strong>. The leadership gap is narrow, $2.5 to $2.4 million.</li>

<li><strong>26th Senate District:</strong> $135,000 Republican Dan Duffy to $31,000 Democrat Bill Gentes (Round Lake Mayor)</li>

<li><strong>27th Senate District:</strong> $104,000 for incumbent Matt Murphy (R-Palatine) to Democrat challenger Peter Gutzmer&#8217;s $3,800.</li>

<li><strong>38th Senate District:</strong> Incumbent Gary Dahl (R-Granville) has $224,000 to challenger Mike Stout&#8217;s approxmate $10,000.</li>

<li><strong>Democrat Speaker Michael Madigan</strong> has $1.8 million (multiple accounts) compared to $1.2 million for <strong>House Republican Tom Cross</strong>.</li>

<li><strong>44th House District:</strong> Freshman Democrat Fred Crespo(Hoffman Estates) has only $12,000, but is trailed by challenger Peggy Brothman with $3,000 on hand.</li>
